Through your generous gifts, Emmanuel was able to do a lot in 2023! Below are links to PDF document outlining what we accomplished with out 185 year old building and what we accomplished through Faith in Action. Also below is a letter from the Stewardship team. Property Report. Faith in Action Report.
Dear Emmanuel Parish Family, As we are now entering this year’s Stewardship Pledge Season, I write you as Stewardship Pledge Chair. I am a longtime parishioner of Emmanuel; Emmanuel has always been a generous community. Along with being generous we are also a welcoming community accepting of all, as we are. Emmanuel welcomes people from all walks of life, in all stages of their spiritual journey. We have much to be grateful for as The Church continues to thrive in many ways from programs like our Christian education, youth programs, updates in our technology and aging building repairs, growth in Faith in Action, programs for international college students and Woman of Emmanuel social time returning. All of these successes over the last year are only possible because of your support, thank you. The theme of this year’s pledge campaign is Moving forward… Join us! For the next 4 Sundays, you will hear reflections from the Stewardship Pledge Committee members on the many ways the Emmanuel community has moved forward and continues to move forward. I ask everyone to join us in this year’s pledge campaign, so we continue to move forward. Every gift makes a difference, no matter its size, large or small. If you pledged last year, please consider an increase if you are able. If you are not a current pledger, please join us this year. The 2024 operating budget is based on the total raised by this campaign. Join us in continuing our programs, upkeep on our aging building, and furthering the work of Faith In Action. Pledge cards are enclosed. You can scan the QR code at the bottom of the letter, or you can go to our website at https://bit.ly/2024PLEDGEcard to complete your pledge online. If you prefer handwriting your pledge on the pledge card you may mail it to Emmanuel on or before November 12 or bring it on November 12, Stewardship Pledge Sunday. All pledge cards can be taken to the altar, if you already submitted your pledge, bring your card indicating that your pledge was completed online, via QR code or mail. Please everyone, join us, as Emmanuel continues to move forward! Gratefully, Joyce Pluhar 2023 Stewardship Pledge Chair Committee: Peg Cooper, Steve Cunningham, Ed & Betsy Lindner, John Long, Laura McLaughlin, JoAnne Warren
