The Altar Guild at Emmanuel Church is an outstanding group of detail-oriented individuals who prepare our sacred space for worship on Sundays, feast days, and holy days in the Church year. Don’t know what a burse, pyx, or ciborium are? Join the Altar guild to find out. Altar guild members play a key role in our worship and help with burial services and weddings. The caring committee is a group of compassionate individuals who assist the clergy from time to time in making friendly visits to the sick or shut-in. They also provide meals to families celebrating the birth of a child or battling a prolonged illness. These extraordinary individuals go above and beyond to care for others in the Spirit of their Savior. This group is not meeting in person yet. If you are able to make personal phone calls or send cards, please contact them. Contact: Peg Cooper for Caring Committee or Lisa Liss for Martha's Meals.

Anyone who would like to be, can be a member of Men of Emmanuel. This small group has begun to meet outside around the fire pits on the fourth Thursday of the month. COVID has severely impacted the activity of this group of men, but they are hardy and have watched for bats, made brown bag sandwiches and shared some special brew in 2021! Activities are announced in the weekly emails. Contacts: Tom Smith
